On the quote request form, you will be prompted to specify the Origin Port and Destination Port for your shipment. Depending on your shipment’s incoterms, these may be optional.
For LCL and air shipments the Origin Port/Airport will typically be the closest major city. For FCL shipments, it’s usually the nearest major port city for. The Origin Location is the supplier’s address.
If you do not know which port would be the best option, please choose the port closest to your supplier’s factory. For an Ex Works shipment, you may also choose to this field blank, and your Flexport team will choose the best routing option for you.

If your shipment is going to Amazon, the Destination Port will be the major city closest to your assigned fulfillment center.
If your shipment is not going to Amazon, the Destination Port will be the major city closest to your final destination.
If you don’t know the Destination Port, you can leave this field blank and your Flexport team will choose the best routing option for you.
