The opportunity:

Flexport is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Senior Manager to lead our growing product marketing team. In this role, you will lead a team of Product Marketing Managers focused on  bringing products to market, creating awareness, and driving adoption. Armed with a passion for innovation and taking new offerings to market on a multi-channel, multi-segment, global scale, you should enjoy working closely with key stakeholders to assess new markets, develop compelling business cases, identify product use cases, and create marketing activities that drive Flexport revenue and growth. This position is based in San Francisco or Bellevue.

You will:

  • Lead Flexport’s team of Product Marketing Managers and implement best practices for executing on a variety of marketing strategies
  • Provide leadership for the go-to-market strategy and execution for Flexport’s products and services
  • Gather, analyze, and synthesize information about the industry and technology, focusing on both existing and emerging competitive landscapes
  • Understand Flexport’s customers and users and act as the voice of the customer to Marketing, Product, and Supply counterparts and leadership
  • Identify opportunities to drive product growth, and develop data-driven recommendations to attain pipeline and other business KPIs

You should have:

  • 4-8 years relevant experience (preference for marketing, tech companies, product management, or industry backgrounds) in fast-moving environments
  • Proven leadership skills, ability to manage up and drive consensus among executive stakeholders
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders with diverse needs and perspectives
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and understand complex market dynamics (ecosystem, customers, competition) and how it impacts marketing and product strategy
  • Proven track record with creating a range of marketing assets, and crafting compelling messaging and positioning for technology products
  • MBA a plus 
  • A "compliance first" attitude to keep our regulators happy and enthusiastic about Flexport since we operate in a heavily regulated industry
